Junior Victoria Tachinski of Vincent Massey Collegiate in Winnipeg, Manitoba, repeated as girls 400-meter champion in 54.38, doing so out of the second heat at the 38th Simplot Games at Idaho State University's Holt Arena. Tachinski ran a Canadian youth record 54.05 to win last year.
